Anyone else having audio problems when using VLC with Airplay Mirroring? The sound plays through internal speakers even though Apple TV is selected as the output device. Sound works fine using Div X player and in browser movies.

I am having the same problem. But none of my audio is passing through.
Yes I have had that pain for days but visiting the VLC forum shows its a common problem.
Try reverting to v 2.0.8 which I just have and all becomes audible. Phew

Havin the same problem with XBMC on Apple TV
Found my answer on another post. turned off airplay on the apple tv, turned it back on. Restarted the apple tv. and restarted my iMac.
All is good. I don't know which solved problem but it's working now.
