I would like to know if any one is programming with the eclipse software on the mac and would like to know do you think it is wise to stay on the mac or rather use my windows desktop!!!

I use eclipse every day all day for development on my macbook pro running lion. Just download whatver the latest version of eclipse is and run it. Should run on first try. I've even built Android apps in Eclipse on my macbook.....oh the irony 🙂.

Choose the one that meets your needs. If you don't know what meets your needs, select the one that includes most and can be upgraded with plugins like the classic. Select the 64 bit option.
Yes Eclipse works on a Macbook Pro. Why don't you try it? Then stick with the computer that works best for you and your development activities.
