Sep 1, 2012 4:15 PM in response to dustynfromkapaaby -Kevin-,Just saying, I don't think you need home button to restore. You can also use assistive touch instead of the home button. Same thing, but might take a few seconds longer to open it up.

Sep 1, 2012 4:18 PM in response to -Kevin-by lllaass,-Kevin-, the poster has disabled his iPod by entering the incorrect screen-lock passcode too many times. He does not have access to the iPod. To regain use of the iPod you have to place the iPod in recovery mode. Usually you use the Home and Power buttons to place the iPod in recovery mode.

Jan 26, 2014 8:34 PM in response to dustynfromkapaaby mhaegyo,I was in the same situation as you. So what I did was I plugged my ipod (it was on by the way) into the computer and let it sync into itunes. I went on 'help' then 'run diagnosis' and when i checked it was back to normal. I hope yours work out fine too. Good luck!
