Q: What if my iPod is disconnected accedentally while in do not disconnect mode?

My iPod nano first generation accedentally got disconnected while the screen said do not disconnect. Now it's stuck that way, I tried to replug it in, it wont show up on iTunes and it the screen will no longer light up. It is stuck dimmed with "do no disconnect" stuck on the screen. It is still currently puged in. If you can offer any advice I would greatly appreciate it.

    Try to reset the iPod.  To do this, press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.  This may or may not work the first time around, so don't be afraid to try it more than once.  This is the equivalent of rebooting your PC, so not content will (should) be lost.
