Repair permissions again immediately following the system restart that completes the Combo update.
(BTW - Apple has changed the built-in camera's name on newer Macs from "iSight" to "FaceTime" and then to "FaceTime HD." Regardless of the name of your built-in camera, the same info and troubleshooting applies.)
(2) If the problem remains, try using Apple's troubleshooting suggestions at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2090 to test more than one Apple camera app in more than one user account.
If the Apple apps work but Google, Skype, and other third-party applications do not, you should check for help in the web support pages for those problem third-party applications.
(3) If the Apple apps exhibit the same problem as your third-party applications, there may be something wrong with your Mac. Have it checked out by an Apple service technician.
