Contacts aren't syncing after upgrading to 10.8.1 (CoreDAVError)

After upgrading to 10.8.1 on my iMac and MacBook Pro I've been experiencing syncing issues with Contacts.

My groups have dissapered from my MacBook Pro and contacts aren't syncing across both machines. However, changes made on my iPhone and iPad are syncing across those devices and the iCloud webapp.

Contacts indicates the following error:

The operation couldn't be completed.

(CoreDAVErrorDomain error 1.)

I've tried turning off/on iCloud syncing, deleting contacts on the computers and manually resetting the SyncServices folder (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1627).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark
