I own a 13-inch Macbook, Aluminum, late 2008 (serial number W8******1AQ). I have OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1 installed. The version of Boot Camp I have is 5.0.0. I do not see the Macbook that I own listed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1846. Any help would be awesome.

Any version of Windows 7 (except Starter) will work. Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate all work.
According to MacTracker it is 64 bit architechture so consider that when choosing your Win 7 version.
Yes well I have 64-bit hardware but 32-bit ROM and the MacBook in EARLY 2008 was listed as supporting 64-bit Vista but then dropped in Late 2008 and only the MacBook Pro had 64-bit. At the same time the iMac had Intel Penryn processor and also was not "supported Windows 64-bit."
But it is worth the extra effort to use 64-bit OS
Thanks for all the help. I've been attempting to use a 64-bit Windows 7 CD, but Boot Camp Assistant pops up a message every time saying "The installer disc could not be found. Insert your Windows installer disc and wait a few seconds for the disc to be recognized." I've also found a Windows Vista 32-bit CD to also try, but the same message keeps popping up. I'm wondering if reformatting my entire Macintosh HD & trying again may help, but I'm unsure.
Before you take such a drastic move did you try my suggestion to test in Safe Mode?
Is there ANY version of Windows that can be installed onto my Mac?
