Vertical red lines showing up on the right side of the screen

A vertical red line started showing up on the right side of the screen. Tried to reboot and calibrate the display but it doesn't seem to go away. I recently upgraded my OS to mountain lion. Are there any graphics issues after upgading the OS? Is there any fix for this before I consult an Apple service tech?
