On Genius, iPad versions of your iPhone apps shows apps never downloaded

I have an iPad 2, running iOS 5.1.1 stock, & am having somewhat of a bizarre issue pop-up every once in a great while. If I go to the app store and go to the Genius tab, then choose at the top "iPad Upgrades", which is supposed to show you an iPad version of an app that you have downloaded, I get recommendations for apps I have NEVER downloaded or purchased on either my iPhone or iPad. If anyone else has been experiencing this, I would like to know if there is a fix or just something annoying to have to live with. The screenshot shows an example.
