Sep 2, 2012 7:09 AM in response to dan1056by anonymus16,I had this problem before and what I did was I pressed the lock and home button at the same time and held it until it restarted. Hope this helped xxx

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
