Hello,
Have had my brand new 27 inch iMac for about 3 weeks now. This is my first Mac computer. When in sleep mode the iMac sounds like it wants to start up and then there is a clicking sound. Just wondering if this is normal. . .or, should I shut the computer down?

To me any clicking sound is not normal unless on a Mouse or Trackpad. Do not delay to have it investigated, take a look at Apple returns and refunds from here.... http://store.apple.com/uk/help/returns_refund

Thanks. Called Apple Support and they said there might be something wrong with the internal hard drive. Taking it in to my local Apple Store this afternoon to get it checked.
