For flv files use VLC media player.
Thak you for your answer, but I've already tried with VLC, wich is my favorite player, but since few weeks it doesn't reed anymore the downloaded files from youtube. I wonder if they have changed some codec or something like that.
.flv stands for Flash Video, use Adobe Flash Player if VLC doesn't do it.

Maybe Youtube has - since their ToU forbid downloads of content unless they supply a download link for a particular video.
