Q: Waking from sleep issue

Hey, when i open my powerbook g4 12's lid, in about 2 seconds the screen shows my desktop picture but i cant move my mouse and it takes 10-15 seconds before i regain control of my trackpad and keyboard. How can i get it to wake up in less time?

    Hello,

     

    I think the realistic answer would be no. The reason why I say this is based on my own experience. Both my PowerBook G4 17" and 15" running 10.5 take a good 10-15 seconds to initialize the keyboard and tracker pad.

    I believe this to be an issue with Mac OS X 10.5. I don't have any issues with my other PowerBook's running 10.4 Tiger.

     

    Unless anyone else knows anything different.
