Installing Plugin for Aperature

Hi there, I hope someone could help me - a Mac user over a year already, but still very blurry about Mac OS.

I am trying to install a plugin for 'Aperture to Picasa', so I could export Aperture photos to Picasa. However, I can't locate my Aperture home folder and it is so frustrating because there's no folder that contains Aperture at all!!

I have been given this link - ~/Library/Application Support/Aperture/Plug-ins/Export. What should I do since I can't find the Aperature folder? I have just upgraded to mountain lion and is currently using Aperature 3.3.2.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you all!!

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.1), 2.2GHz . Intel i7 . 15" . 4GB 1333

Using the 'Go' menu, hold down the 'Option' key and you should see 'Library' in the list now. Click on it and you will be at: '~/Library' address.

Open the 'Application Support' folder and then the 'Aperture' folder (both of which should exist if you have launched Aperture at least once).

At this point, you may need to create either or both of the 'Plug-Ins' and 'Export' folders (Export needs to be inside of the 'Plug-Ins' folder).

That will give you an address of '~/Library/Application Support/Aperture/Plug-Ins/Export'. I don't use Picassa, but am assuming you just need to place the Picassa plug-in in the 'Export' folder at this point.

Hope that helps. 😉
