Q: Airplay and mirroring don't work

I have an early 2011 MacBook Pro, two iPhone 4s's, the latest iPad, and a second generation AppleTV. None of the devices can airplay or mirror to the TV.  Airplay is activated on the Apple TV.  It's connected to wifi and the apps like Hulu and Netflix work fine. The MacBook "does not recognize any airplaying devices" and the iPhones don't have that airplay symbol.  Everything is connected to the same home wireless network. This is extremeley frustrating and of course the warranty ended on the Apple TV last month.

    i have this problem, audio but not video from Airply Mirroring from an OSX device. My IOS devices work fine. My Mini i'm trying to mirro from is hard wired into a Linksys E2000 also, via a Netgear switch.

     

    reboots on my Router did nothing. I'm really at a loss with this.. help, anyone?

    I must say that i had the same trouble.....a house FULL of Apple products and NOTHING...wouldn't recognise any of them......Well i followed the advice of a few and simply RESET my router and now EVERYTHING works fine. Thanks :-)
