Q: I just wiped my computer due to software issue why is my i-tunes library different now that i have reloaded it?

Did you reload it from the Backup you made before you wiped your computer...

Presumably, you have done as AnaMusic suggested, so in what way is it different?

1. It now has one song less than it did before
2. The album artwork is missing
3. Playcounts and Playlists are missing
4. All your favourite artists and songs are missing
5. All the songs are ones you would not choose, have never chosen and in fact, it looks like someone else's Library

Please give us a clue.

At guess you built a new library database using the old media instead of restoring the old database along with the media...
