Strange VPN behaviour in Mountain Lion Server with iOS Clients

Hi all,

First of all i had Lion server up Running with all Features, also VPN worked with all devices.

After a clean install of Mountain Lion server, no iOS Client is able to connect over VPN. MACs with the same VPN Profile can connect with vpn without any problems.

On iOS devices the connection fails with the following message: "L2TP-Server not responding".

Same behaviour after restart, or changing VPN Settings with PPTP

iOS devices and Macs are getting their Settings over the profilmanager. Also when trying to enter the settings manually, the same error occurs.

Any ideas?

Thank you

Same issue here with 10.8.2 and Server.app 2.2. It seams that the iOS devices can't even reach the vpn server because there are no entries at all in the logfiles. This happens with or without Profiles while OS X Clients (tested with 10.8.2) are running fine with or without profiles. DNS resoultion is the same on both device types.

Very strange...
