How do I attach a 10.8 client(Server) to a 10.7 XSAN? It says Authentication fails even though it is correct. Have the files moved?

Can't do it. From http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3755: "In all cases, the versions of Xsan and Mac OS X on the metadata controller must the same as, or later than, the latest versions on a client."
