connect it to iTunes. if your iPhone recognizes the mac or the pc you're trying to sync it with, it'll come out of the disabled state.

then restore it using iTunes. when it finishes, it'll be unprotected. so you can use your iPhone again. just remember not to check the "restore from backup" box, because it'll get all the previous settings again, therefore, your password will be up again.

that is the worst part of it. you'll have to sync all your songs, pics, videos, etc. again, and get your stuff from iCloud. it takes some time, but works.
