It seems more and more it is required that I use Mac OS 10.5 and higher. Would gladly upgrade if I could figure out where to get the upgrade from. Seems it is no longer available. Any ideas of how to upgrade without buying an entirely new system. Everything works well. Applications are paid for and still do the trick. Just loosing the ability to upgrade to many various needed plug ins, etc. : (

Thank you. I wll give them a call. I am almost afraid to ask... I am guessing that there may be some system requirements to upgrade to 10.6. Any idea if my little MacBook, Intel Core Duo, 2 GHz, 667 MHz can do such an upgrade.
Yes, it can. All Intel Macs which shipped with 10.5.8 or earlier can run 10.6, but you may need or want to install more RAM.

I was able to order the Snow Leopard 10.6 from Apple for $19.99.
he Apple expert recommended to upgrade through (blue)Apple/Software Update right away to 10.6.8. Along with that many things were updated in the installation process!
