This is not working. I am told my software is up to date, but then I try to manually download, and that doesn't work either. I thought I would try to uninstall iTunes and reinstall but it won't let me, saying that it is part of the OS X operating system.

I FINALLY updated my macbook pro to Lion, and now I cannot get my iTunes to work. I get the "created by a newer version" error alert. I have tried uninstalling but it won't let me. I have tried manually updating and/or installing, but that doesn't help. Does anyone have any insight into this?

Thanks!

iTunes-OTHER, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
