What is the compatible IOS and XCODE for MAC 10.6.8? I already tried xcode 3.2.6 and ios sdk 4.3 still installation failed. Please help Im running MAC OS on VMware Workstation. Please send me some solution on how to install even different version all I want is to have an ios and xcode for my mac virtual pc. Thanks in advance guys!

So the possible solution is to update my mac os from 10.6.8 - 10.7? then install xcode and ios? am I right?
Solution for what? I put that user tip together to keep from having to repeat details here 🙂. Do what you need to do to get from where you are to where you need to be.
If you want me to make a specific suggestion, it would be to get current and use OS X 10.8.1 and Xcode 4.3.3 - you might want to hurry....no telling how much longer Snow Leopard will do any good - as it is now, there are features that aren't supported such as iCloud. iOS 6 will be out soon...

But be warned that running Mac OSX on a VM violates your license and Apple may ban you from submitting Apps. (Especially since you just told them that is what you are doing.)
