Julian,

iFog is not MY factious term for iCloud. It's a term that is used by many people who are frustrated with iCloud. I frequently hear it in every coffee shop in Cupertino.

Regarding your statement about the "link to the User Guide for iCloud available from every page of the iCloud website by clicking the Help link or the ? icon." that raised another interesting question. Yes, I see the ? on the top page of the iCloud site. If I go, for instance, to the Contacts page, and do a Safari search for 'help' it reports one occurrence, but highlights none. Thinking I might not be seeing the highlighting, I search for the single letter 'h'. Safari search reports six occurrences of 'h', but as I click through the forward/back search arrows, the 'h' in the word home is, and stays highlighted.

If you are correct that there is a link "from every page of the iCloud website," those links may for some reason be hidden on my system -- using the MacBook now. Nevertheless, they are not accessible.

Unfortunately, my contacts have all disappeared from two of my machines again. The Contact help that I did find said to go top Apple>System Preferences>MobilMe, which no longer exists. <sigh>

But thanks for your help.
