Can't dowload fron iOS App Store (keeps asking for security questions).

For the past 4 days I've been unable to download apps from the App Store. Whenever I try and download an app, I get a pop-up asking me to fill in three security questions and an alternate email address. I've tried filling this in many times, but it always results in a "session timed out" error. It's also odd, because I've already filled out these security questions for my Apple ID a while ago via the Apple ID portal.

I've tried resetting the iPhone, logging out of the account then back in, etc., but it continues to happen. Just can't seem to get passed this and this can't download apps anymore?

Are you guys in iOS 6 or iOS 5? For me, it turns out it was an issue with iOS 6 - when I logged into my App Store account from my wife's iPhone on iOS 5 and tried to download something, it again asked me for the questions. But, this time it allowed me to answer them and accepted the submission without the "session expired" error! Then, back on my iPhone with iOS 6, I was able to download apps again!

Hope this helps!

The solution is to remember the answer to your security questions, or to reset them. Start with https://appleid.apple.com. You can send a reset to your Rescue email address, then reset your questions. If that fails contact Apple Account Security support. Once you prove that you are the owner of the account they can reset your questions for you. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699 for information on contacting Apple.
