Can ios 5.1 support SAMSUNG ml 2165w AIRPRINT?

Does SAMSUNG mono laser printer ml 2165w have airprint is rather the question. Your iOS 5.1 device supports any printer that has the airprint driver.

I dont see it in the list provided by Apple.

Samsung has an app called 'Samsung Mobile Print' - available in the App Store

I haven't used the app - my printer gets delivered today - but it might help with printing *some* stuff off your iPhone / iPad.

This app is also junk. If you can, just cancel your order and buy something else.

Otherwise, have a look at this little tool http://netputing.com/handyprint/. Of course your Mac needs to be running for AirPrint Shared printers to be available.

I mean the printer isn't great no doubt but I have a jailbroken iPad so I've downloaded the Print to PDF app.

Basically it lets you print anything just like a normal AirPrint printer but instead it gets saved as PDF. Then I 'Open In..' and choose the Samsung Mobile Print app.

Definitely not the most convenient but it does the trick so I'm happy.

You can use "handyprint" (www.netputing.com) to workaround it.

require to install on a desktop computer PC/MAC,

so use the PC/MAC as a portal to print.

It will simulate all printer that doesn't support airprint feature,

and when iOS device->print, you will see right the way.

You can even print-to-pdf and save it in your folder you specified.

I confirm : it doesn't support airprint. This printer is just junk.
