How do I transfer music from itunes on my mac to a flash drive?

it depends from the OS which is installed on your computer. At first you must access your Music folder which contains the iTunes folder:

Windows 7:

\username\My Music\iTunes.

Windows XP:

\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes

Mac OS X:

~/Music/iTunes/

In this iTunes folders you can find a "iTunes Media" folder which contains your Music. This Music you can than copy on a flash drive 😀

You can open iTunes and just drag the songs you want on the stick and drop them on it.

As sanjampet noted, simply drag the songs from the iTunes window to the flash drive on the desktop.

when i drag the song as soon as it leaves the itunes a circle with a line thru it appears,itunes is just not letting the song leave

this problem has just occurred since i downloaded the latest version of itunes ,i have done this many times before,puzzled
