No. As the Apple TV is unresponsive you need to connect to iTunes, which is done via micro usb

Yes, had to buy a micro usb and now it works normally. I won't sign into my itunes anymore, preventing me from renting directly to the Apple TV, I have to do it from my computer then share it. Any ideas on why that is?
