how to delete templates in pages
How can I delete templates from Pages?
MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
Using Finder, go to the folder in which those files reside and then drag them to the trash.

Your templates reside in your library - the full path is ~\Library\Application Support\iWork\Pages\Templates
The templates that Apple provides cannot be deleted.
Thanks. I could not find library at first. With OS 10.7.4 and Macbook Air I had to click on Go with the option key. Then library appeared and all was well.
Go to Go menu in Finder and hold Alt key while you are in the menu you'll see Library icon. Keep holding the Alt key and then click on this icon to get to the Library folder. It's been hidden to prevent accedental files deleting issues.

I wish you could drag it from the templates screen, but whatever!😕
Keep in mind that once you reveal either your "Library" folder, "Templates" folder, or any folder as far as that goes... you can then always drag that folder to the sidebar of any open Finder window to make a shortcut or alias to that particular folder.
