Dec 19, 2012 3:42 PM in response to gbiasi01by JamieMacQ,So really?! there's no apple "geniuses" out there who can advise what to do? My iphone4 was in my pocket for half and hour while I was in the rain today in my $600 waterproof GoreTex jacket. Just the humidity in the air was enough I guess to make my iphone flashlight stay on. I've re booted it numerous times and even blow-dryed it for 10 minutes and nothing will turn it off. Doesn't anyone know what to do? Wait for the battery to die or light to burn out? Whichever comes first?

Dec 19, 2012 9:53 PM in response to JamieMacQby darklydrawl,Well.. there maybe folks who can help, but both of you have posted this under the "iTunes for Windows" thread, so I am not sure just what folks on here can do to help with this sort of unrelated issue.
I would respectfully suggest you repost these questions in a more appropriate thread - you are also likely to get a much better response.
Good luck,

The post from gbiasi01 was the first Google result when I typed in "flash on iphone 4 wont turn off", I didn't even look to see where the original post was under.
I'm going to have to take in to the Apple Store today because even though the battery died 12 hours ago after hitting 1%, the flashlight is still on! Those LED lights really don't require much power!

Highly efficient and effective as nearly all of the available power goes into producing light (rather than heat, which is where most of it goes when you use a traditional lighting blub) - so even a little bit of power will keep producing some light. Great stuff.
