Have I broken my airport lead?!? Please help me

Hi,

I've just installed a data doubler into my MacBook pro 17" to install a new hdd in place of the optical drive and now my wifi doesn't work. I can't see any evidence of the airport lead being damaged I was pretty carefull.

I can't think what else could be causing the problem, I have boot camp with windows 7and this has the same problem..

Could anybody suggest anything to try?

Thanks

Spencer

Open the system back up and check that the WiFi card is properly seated in the socket. The Lead you are talking about is only for the Antenna and even if it was disconnected the Mac would still show the WiFi card installed.

Thanks for your help. I'm not sure where the wifi card is could you describe it for me please?

I wonder if I knocked the other lead, as there are two, a wide black cable and a thin wiry one. I didn't remove the thin one I just worked around it.

Bluetooth also isn't working does that give any clues?

Thanks again for your help.
