transfering music from mp3 player to MacBook Air

I have a Sansa SanDisk mp3 player and I want to transfer my music from there to my iTunes on my MacBook Air. When I plug in my mp3 player, it shows up in the finder on my computer, with all the folders, but all the folders are empty. How can I get my music from my mp3 player into my iTunes? Thanks.

so it may take some time and a little money (if any at all) but what you need to do for starters is to download some sort of software that will rip songs from an external source (mp3 player/flash drive). then you need to save it as .mp3 or .mp4 - whichever you need to do... once on the mac you should be able to simply drag and drop in to itunes and go from there! 🙂
