Sep 4, 2012 7:54 PM in response to burndenkidby BGreg,See this FAQ on optimizing OS X performance. One of the first things to check is free disk space. Generally, you want 10% or more to be free for systems usage. If you get much less than this, the system will slow to a crawl.

But just had a warning message come up saying i had to turn off the computor imediatly
which i did now it wont come back on!!!!!!!
I have over 30% free space so dont think thats the problem.
Please Help panicing now as its not backed up!
