what do you do when your small display icon shows an almost full battery but when in use the actual full screen battery shows the true state of almost empty...have reset and it didnt fix... it still charges and I havent used it that much even though i have owned it for a long time....probably had about 30 charges in 3 years but recently I have been using it and this problem is really annoying as you cant even see the full screen battery by pressing something you have to wait for it to go to sleep while you are playing something.

Sounds like the battery is on its last leg even despite the fact that it has only been charged 30 times as you stated. Keep in mind that lithium ion batteries need constant activity in order to be able to maintain its ability to charge to reach its full capacity.
