How Come My MacBook Pro can't run games at High Quality without lagging?

I have the Late 2011 13" Macbook Pro with the 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 Proccessor, 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3 Memory, Intel HD Graphics 3000 348MB. When I bootcamp into Windows 7 I would expect I would be able to play games such as Guild Wars 2 on at least medium graphics quality settings because my specs are well above the required specs for the game but whenever I set the graphics up to medium the game lags ALOT. I'm force to play on low settings because of this and I would expect I would be able to play them at medium if not high. Here is a link to the Guild Wars 2 Minimum specs here. Am I wrong in thinking that I am able to play the game at high graphic settings or is there an issue?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4), Windows 7 Bootcamp

First of all, if gaming is your thing, you purchased the wrong computer. The 13" MacBook Pro does not have a dedicated GPU. The GPU is integrated with the CPU & thus your computer simply does not have the graphics power, and there is nothing you can do to change this. Nothing wrong with your computer, the problem is the choice you made for gaming.

I bought it for school work and such and it serves the purpose well for that I just game on the side and thought it would run games pretty well(thats what the store clerk told me at the apple store). I can play it just not on max settings which I would love but if its not possible thats not a big deal I just wanted to make sure nothing was wrong with the computer first.
