Hi, Just wondering if there is an application for the iPad that will allow handwritten recognition to text within a word doc. I have a number of word document templates I use for work and wondering if there is an ability to add text, say with a stylus pen? Also, if there is an ability to then save that file in dropbox that would be an added bonus.
Search the App Store for "handwriting" and see what you come up with. If you want handwriting recognitioon within an app that doesn't provide it, you'll be stuck with copy/paste from a different app.
Thanks, I have looked in the app store and there appears to be nothing that allows hand writing recognition with in a word document. The majority of hand writing recognition apps only allow you to create a txt file or pdf document. If the hand writing recognition was available in pages or similar .doc editing application that would solve my problem? Ultimately I am chasing the ability to upload a formatted word doc, add text in the field by quickly hand writing on the iPad with a stylus pen, then have the ability to edit the document further back in the office.
As far as I know there are no such apps. :-(
