Sep 5, 2012 8:34 AM in response to san00077by varjak paw,I don't know whether you mean the host OS or guest OS, so see these two web pages:
https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch01.html#idp13446000
https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Guest_OSes
10.7 is Lion, not Leopard, just to be clear.

Sep 5, 2012 3:28 PM in response to san00077by san00077,I have a MacBok Pro with a Mac 0s x Lion 10.7 (upgraded from original Snow Leopard 10.6 ) and later bootcamped with a partition windows7 helped by Apple guys. All official. It works fine & I am happy.
I am aware from host Mac Lion 10.7 I should be able to access the guest bootcamp partition by using Virtualbox.
I have already visited the VirtualBox and followed those instructions. . I had already visited the website that you mentioned and saw JB"s advice in the Virtualbox official forum blog . It just does not work
I know the way Virualbox works with a windows CD. I know about Parallel etc.

Sep 6, 2012 6:55 AM in response to san00077by varjak paw,You need to take this up in the VirtualBox forums if VB is unable to access and launch from a working Boot Camp partition. This will not be an Apple issue, so you're not as likely to get help with this problem in these forums.
Regards.

Sep 6, 2012 2:14 PM in response to san00077by san00077,I am grateful to my google search using "how to run windows-7 bootcamp in virtualbox" . After spending hours of trial & error on Apple, VirtualBox, Youtube & other forums by chance I hit correct words and first in the search list was most useful. It gave simpler and easier instructions than others. Guidance is in easy steps and it works great.
