Safari 6 using almost 5 GB of ram in OS X Lion

Safari 6 is using almost 5 GB of ram, i have only 11 tabs opened (seen on the attached image), all of them pretty much text, none of them are flash (besides i'm using ClickToFlash). I only have ClickToFlash extension.

With this amount of memory allocated, the system was extremely slow and unresponsive to mouse and keyboard interactions.

As can be seen on the attached image, i noticed that all my other programs lower the amount of ram used by itself to adjust to Safari's excesive memory needs

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

Reset Safari more often.

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Reset Safari

Select: Clear History (also empties the cache)

Deselect the remaining boxes then click Reset.

Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

This isn't an acceptable solution to me, in fact i reset safari very often, the problem here is different, maybe related to some memory leak or to some strange config. You should not have to restart, reset or whatever your programs for it to clean up and release memory.

I've never had a problem with memory using Safari ever on any Mac OS X but then again I clear the history often.
