I cannot download my software in the App Store because of error "Im App Store ist ein Fehler aufgetreten. Bitte versuchen Sie es zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt erneut. (100)". Why does Apple not fix this issue once for all, This has come up after 10.7.4 update.

Has anybody faced similar issue? Thanks for your help

    Hello Carolyn,

thanks very much for your hint, but this solution I have tried already and the error still keeps on showing. I even trashed the library/caches/com.apple.appstor/cache.db as well as library/preference/com.apple.appstore.plist files which also did not solve the problem.

I even went ahead and changed in keychain in system roots and certificates the certificates with a + (click on TRUST and change SECURE SOCKETS LAYER (SSL) to NO VALUES SPECIFIED and saving password and later changing in the same Certificate WHEN USING THIS CERTIFICATE to USE SYSTEM DEFAULT)

This chage actually helped to have the system recognize the pending updates in appstore which did not show at all before. Still, when trying to purchase any app (I even purchased mountain lyon and was charged for it, but cannot download) the system asks me for password and apple id, but as soon as I go to download the error (100) appears as described originally.

I do not what other approach to take for this issue and would greatly appreciate if you know of any other corner where to check settings or whatever. Thanks again for your help.

    Best Regards,

    Wolfgang

Does anybody have a Suggestion on how to solve  the above issue. If Not, then how can I get a Hold of Mountain Lion Update. I purchased it on App. Store, but cannot Download it Because error 100 keeps showing.

    Best regards,
