I can't use iCloud on my computers or on iCloud.com. What am I doing wrong?

I have set up iCloud on MacPro and My PC. I can't figure out how to use it, nor can I find my account on iCloud.com. I can't get anything on either computer except the setup screen -- no options do anything. What am I doing wrong?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

Try the following as a first step test....


Using a computer browser, go to icloud.com and try logging in using the ID and password. If it doesn't let you in, then the ID is incorrect or you have not set up an icloud account.


If you do get in, then use that ID and password in Settings>iCloud, scroll to bottom of screen to log in [on iOS devices]. On a mac, use System Preferences>icloud and click the Accounts button to sign in.

The Genius Bar guy told me that my Lion OS is fine. I did check the requirements as you suggested, and it does specifiy Mountain Lion, but iCloud doesn't seem to care. I'm still confused, but I was able to log in at iCloud.com after I went to the side for the 10th time of not being presented with the sign in option. So, I guess I'm okay now, but there may be a surprise or 2 waiting for me. Also, I'm undecided about upgrading to Mountain Lion. I've read some negative comments. Thanks again for your comment.
