Error At Boot: TextEditor window that is titled "CodeRequirements- Locked"

I upgraded my duagther's mid 2010 MacBook Pro 7,1, with Mountain Lion.

Every OTHER time I boot it, I get a TextEditor Window on the screen after the OS has loaded. The window is titled "CodeRequirements- Locked". In the text area is the following message (the same each time):

˙fi

P ˙fi

< com.apple.driver.AppleAVBAudio

The TextEditor stays frozen for a bit, but after a few minutes it becomes active and I can close it. (Otherwise I can Force Close it).

The computer seems to act perfectly normally otherwise after I close the window. And there do not seem to be any problems, audio or otherwise.

I come from the PC world, and have zero idea why the message appears, what it means, or what I can do to fix it.

Any help sincerely appreciated.

THANKS!!
