Since the iPhone was born in 2007, I continue to be baffled why there is no APP so I can listen to NFL games, like we can with MLB.
Does anyone know if there is an APP for the iPhone so I can listen to live audio of the NFL games this season.
Would be very, very happy to pay.
Also very, very, very ticked off that the NFL has linked itself to Verizon for their game audio.
I am an AT&T user.
Any help would be appreciated

Apple only creates the apps that come on your phone when you first buy it. Any other apps are created by private developers who I'm sure would love to hear your feedback, but this isn't the best place to get to them
There is an NFL 12 app in the AppStore and it refers to an in-app purchase of and Audio Pass.
What the heck does this mean?????
I am looking for an APP to listen to NFL games on my iPhone.
Can I do this with my iPhone (AT&T)????, like I can with MLB.com
All I need is a yes or no, If yes where can I get the APP, if no an explanation why the NFL is so restrictive would also be helpful.

Under the above link it says:
"Live audio of every game (with Audio Pass purchase). Authenticate into your Audio Pass subscription in NFL '12 or purchase live audio on a monthly, seasonal or annual basis."
This is the official NFL app like the MLB app. It is in the App Store which is the only place to get it.

You asked for an app to listen to NFL games.
I pointed you to the the official NFL app, a free app. It has an in-app purchase for an audio pass to listen to all games.
I provided you links to the app via Appshopper and the NFL site itself. You pay (as an inapp purchase) for the Audio Pass to listen to the games. In your first post you said you are willing to pay for it.
So how can you possibly say you have no answer?
i just checked out the app on itunes and it appears by the app description that audio pass feature is only for ipads, maybe that is why he's saying he doesn't have an answer? would be nice if the op would elaborate, but there were a ton of complaints in the reviews as well about audio pass is only for ipads.

you're probably right, but i clicked on your link and it says nothing about audio pass under the 'u.s. and canada smartphones', but it does specifically mention audiopass under 'additional tablet features' and under 'additional international smartphone features'. also states it like that on the apps page in itunes. strange, though like i said, would be nice if the op would elaborate on what the actual problem is.

Thx much for your help! Too bad NFL app is not as good as MLB's. I could not get the audio of last night's Giants-Cowboy's game on my iPhone. Hopefully it is something I was doing wrong and NOT that is cannot be heard on an iPhone.
Perhaps the replacement referees are also in charge of the audio.

wow! I cannot believe the NFL has "fumbled" this so badly. Here I am willing to pay the NFL some $$$ and they do not want it.
