does anyone know how to bypass or remove forgoten firmware password? i wanted to go to the apple store and i called in advance and explained the matter but the guy told me to bring it in for a 40$ bench fee and he doesnt even know how mutch more for the fix! MacBookPro 2011

In general you need to take it in for service in order to have it removed/reset.
