HF2-SU3S2 as TimeMachine

Hey guys,

I apologize if this has been discussed some deep in the forum. I've done a number of different searches and couldn't bring much up on issue...

I recently setup Mediasonic's HF2-SU3S2 on my Mac. Everything went together smoothly, without a hitch. I then setup one of the drives as a TimeMachine. Again...no issues. TM ran its backup and several since then.

I then came back to my machine a while later to see that a backup had failed, saying, "TM could not complete the backup. An error occurred while creating the backup folder."

I also ran into the random unmounting and had since turn off PowerSync...thinking that was the problem. While that solved the unmounting, it did not solve the TM issue.

If I manually unmount and remount the drive, TM comes back to life and runs for a while...but at some point during the day, will fail.

It does seem to be possibly more of a system issue than something with bay. Figured that using it as a TM is probably a rather common use so wanted to try you guys first.

Thanks for any help.

**UPDATE** Guess I really didn't get the unmounting issue squashed. I just tried writing to the drives and was getting an error. In an attempt to eject the drives, I have to force eject them get a "The disk TM wasn't ejected because one or more programs may be using it." Their storage/backup drives. There isn't anything that should be accessing.
