Why do I have to NVRAM/PRam frequently

I have to reset my NVRAM maybe once a week as my computer starts to have problems. I replaced my optical drive with a MCE optibay so I have a second hard drive and I upgraded my ram to 2x4gb maybe 4 months ago. Some of the symptoms I have noticed are:

  • when i plug my power adapter in it goes straight to a 'green light' and says 'not charging' in the top right
  • I can no longer access my second harddrive (wallpaper disapears, can't save to it)
  • I also noticed a few times that I couldn't use my apple wireless keyboard as bluetooth was working incorrectly

Thanks.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
