Iogear GBU 521 W6

Recently, I've been having problems with my Trackpad. I was told that an external Bluetooth dongle would solve it, so I dropped into St**les to get what I was told would work. I was hoping for the GBU 421, but all they had was the 521. It says right on the package, Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later. I plug it in expecting that it would work fine. No. I check the quick start guide (included in the package) which tells me "Oh, you don't need any drivers for Mac, Apple has included them already". so, what gives, Iogear. This darn thing is supposed to work, yet it does not.

any help appreciated

Oh, Iogear, you have made me a sad, sad panda :_(

well, ladies and gents, I fixed it-more or less. Did an Archive and Install for SL, then Updated to Lion. Got the correct BT dongle (the 421, which is indeed plug n' play). Was told by iogear that Apple doesn't support BT 4.0, period. (so the package was a lie..) Bluetooth working fine now. Jimmies have ceased rustling. Kinda liking Lion.
