Leawo Blu-ray Creator for Mac...Does it work?

People say only Toast and Encore are the only games in town for Blu-Ray burning, and both have issues. But has anyone tried Leawo Blu-ray Creator for Mac? I'm shocked that there are so few Blu-Ray burning programs for Mac on the market and why won't Apple add Blu-Ray support to iDVD? I don't understand.

Apple considers that Blu-ray and standard DVD are obsolete technologies.

This is why Blu-ray burners have never been incorporated in Macs and why iDVD has not been updated for the past 5 years and is no longer supplied with new Macs.

As part of this policy Apple is phasing out all DVD burners in its new Macs.

FCP X can burn Blu-ray discs provided you have a third party Blu-ray burner, though it only provides a very basic menu.

More useful for many is FCP X's ability to burn AVCHD discs provided your Mac still has a standard Superdrive burner.

AVCHD discs can be burned on cheap (15 pence) DVDs but have to be played back in a Blu-ray player.

They give quality virtually identical to Blu-ray but you are limited to projects of 40 minutes at the highest quality setting.

I didn't know you could burn AVCHD discs from FCPX. But you don't get a real menu do you? I think Leawo does menus. And as much as I Ioved what Steve Jobs was trying to do, the fact is people buy DVDs and Blu-Rays every day. I need a way I can burn a full movie and some extras on a single Blu-Ray or DVD. I hope someone at Apple does decide to give us new DVD/Blu-Ray software. A single upgrade to iDVD would enable Blu-Ray burning.

I just purchased Blu-ray Creator and it will not let me back up my hardcopy Blu-ray onto my hard drive...infact all it seems to be able to do is take dvd's or Blu-ray movies off your hardrive and burn a copy into Blu-ray.You have to buy another software program that lets you backup a hard copy Blu-ray disk on to your hardrive for $45 on top of the $25 i just spent ... i could have bought Toast for $44!!!!!. I have a Samsung SE-506 BD writer and Macbook 10.7.5.

I'm going to write a sternly worded letter to so someone!!!
