How can you change the username that appears on emails. When my friend set up their new iPad they made a mistake etering the username and they want to correct it so that their correct name appears on any emails they send from the iPad.

Thanks - but this isn't it.
When an email is sent from the ipad at the top of their email message it says From - and gives their name. The problem is that there is an error in their name. this was introduced when they set up the iPad. My question is how to change the name that appears here.
Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Select the Account ( tap on the > next the account name)
The inital account settings are shown.
Tap on the Account
Now you can edit the sender name in the next window.
Tap done to save the changes and leave the windows.

I should have mentioned that the email account not an apple .me account and has been set up using the microsoft exchange option. When you click on the account in settings it does not give an option to change the name - it only has the email address and password.
