    It depends on what make and model it is. If it's one of the models that support AirPrint then it just needs to be connected to the same wifi network as your iPad - the models that support AirPrint are listed on this page. If it doesn't support AirPrint then you could see if the printer manufacturer has their own app in the app store that supports it, othererwise you could try one of the third party printer apps e.g. Print n Share or PrintCentral Pro
