i can't export my project the menu is in gray?

Try and export from the project library. If it's still grayed out reinstall the application.

You have to make sure that the timeline has focus. Click anywhere in the timeline and be sure not to travel through the effects browser on the way to the menu bar. Or click in the timeline and hit Cmd-E (for Share->Export Media).
