Problem with iPad and Devolo

My iPad can connect and run on my basic Wifi router.

As i have big walls, I bought a devolo dLAN 200 Wireless network to get Wifi upstairs in my home.

But It cannot connect to the devolo.

I choose the devolo network shown on the list but iPad gives an error message after entering the password "Cannot acces the devol-XXX network".

I have to say that 3 PC's can connect and run on the devolo. Is Apple Plug and Play (with devolo) ?

Thanks JV ADAM (Belgium)

That could be caused by a firewall in the router. For reasons that I do not understand, that will affect IOS (iPod/iPad) communication but will not affect computers or other devices.

You will need administrative access to the router. If a firewall is present, turn it off and test the iPod again. If it works, turn the firewall back on but weaken it a notch and test the iPod again. Repeat as required.

I don't understand why you purchased a new router. Radio transmission power is regulated by law and all routers are designed to put out the max.
